Cristiano Ronaldo: The Attraction of the Saudi League for Players, and Our Open Arms to Welcome Them

 



The renowned Portuguese football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, shared his thoughts with the popular Saudi channel Ssc after the Al-Nassr and Al-Taawoun match in the Saudi Rochen League.


Ronaldo, who scored a goal in the match, concluded the 2023 season as the world's top scorer with 54 goals, surpassing Mbappe, Harry Kane, and Erling Haaland.


Expressing his satisfaction, Ronaldo told the Saudi channel, "I am very happy both collectively with Al-Nassr club and individually. I managed to score many goals with Al-Nassr and my national team, and I am very proud of this. I want to continue scoring goals in the upcoming season."


Reflecting on his experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo stated, "I am very happy after coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At first, no one believed what I was saying, and the important thing is that the Saudi league is growing."


He concluded, "Players want to join the Saudi Rochen League because the championship has become more competitive, and if more stars want to join, we will definitely welcome them."


Regarding the Al-Nassr vs. Al-Taawon match, Al-Nassr secured a 4-1 victory in the nineteenth round of the Saudi Rochen League at King Abdullah Sports City in Buraydah. Ashraf Al-Mehdioui scored for Al-Taawoun in the 13th minute, but Al-Nassr responded with goals from Brounovic, Laporte, Otavio, and Ronaldo.


In the Saudi Rochen League standings, Al-Nassr holds the second position with 46 points after 19 rounds, winning 15 matches, drawing one, and suffering three defeats. They have scored 55 goals and conceded 23.


Al-Taawoun occupies the fourth place with 43 points, securing 10 wins, four draws, and five defeats. They have scored 32 goals and conceded 22. Meanwhile, Al-Hilal leads the table with 53 points, having not suffered any defeats, winning 17 matches, and drawing twice.
