Impressive Sales in Gulf and Turkish Markets Showcase Samsung's Dominance with the Galaxy Z Series

 


Samsung Electronics Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has reported significant sales success with its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, surpassing their predecessors in key markets, particularly the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations and Turkey.

In an official blog post, the South Korean tech giant disclosed that the Galaxy Z Flip5 had emerged as the top performer, driven by a remarkable surge in demand, accounting for 54% of total sales. Among buyers, the most popular color choices were "Graphite" and "Mint," representing 33% and 29% of sales, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold5 gained attention with its color options "Phantom Black" and "Ice Blue," making up 44% and 37% of total sales, respectively.

Samsung also highlighted a noteworthy trend: a fourfold increase in the selection of the 1-terabyte storage option for the Galaxy Z Fold5 compared to its predecessor, indicating a promising future for high-capacity storage in the smartphone industry.

Christian Schmiedt, Vice President of Samsung in the Middle East and North Africa region, expressed delight at these impressive sales figures, affirming the innovative features that cater to customer needs through the latest Galaxy Z series. He also emphasized the growing momentum of foldable phones as a prevailing trend in the markets.

Samsung emphasized the unique features of its Galaxy Z Flip5, designed to offer a distinctive and foldable pocket-sized experience. It received widespread acclaim for its distinct design and enhanced features, including the Flex Window, which is 3.78 times larger than the previous generation, providing an unmatched user experience.

As for the Galaxy Z Fold5, it is characterized by its expansive large display and long-lasting battery, delivering top-notch performance within the Galaxy Z series. It is also the slimmest and lightest foldable smartphone ever produced by Samsung.
