Roman Reigns Set for WWE SmackDown Comeback on October 27

Roman Reigns is set to make a comeback to the SmackDown show at Fiserv Forum arena on October 27, confirming earlier rumors of his return. While WWE has not yet officially announced this on their website or social media, they may do so in the near future. Other wrestlers on the card for this event include L.A. Knight, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, and Io Sky.

The upcoming show is expected to mark John Cena's final appearance in his current WWE run, barring any unexpected changes. Cena has been actively participating in weekly shows since his return on September 1 and was part of the WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event in India. He is also slated to compete in the Fastlane show on October 7 and the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia in November.

A recent development saw The Rock make a return on a recent episode of SmackDown, possibly setting the stage for tension with Roman Reigns. Reigns' last appearance was on the SmackDown show following SummerSlam 2023, during which Jey Uso surprised everyone by attacking all members of the Bloodline and announcing his departure from SmackDown and WWE. Jey subsequently returned at Payback 2023 and moved to Raw, sparking a conflict with The Judgment Day team.
